The 2021 edition of the Prix du Cercle Montherlant – Académie des beaux-arts has been launched since 22 March 2021.
Created in 2002, the Cercle Montherlant – Académie des beaux-arts Prize is awarded each year to a French-language work of art. Worth 10,000 euros, the prize has been divided since 2016 between the author (8,000 euros) and the publisher (2,000 euros). It is entirely financed by the generosity of Mr Jean-Pierre Grivory, Chairman and CEO of the company « Parfums Salvador Dali ».
The jury of the Prix du Cercle Montherlant – Académie des beaux-arts pays tribute to Olivier Dassault who passed away on 7 March, having joined the jury in 2016 and actively participated in its work.
The calendar of this event for the year 2021 is structured around the following dates:
- 22 March 2021 : launch of the Prize
- 11 June 2021 : deadline for receiving books
- 17 November 2021 : award of the Prize at the formal sitting of the Academy of Fine Arts
Publishers wishing to present a book for this Prize must send it to the press service, together with presentation material, until 11 June 2021.
