The 2022 edition of the Cercle Montherlant – Académie des beaux-arts Prize is open since March 28, 2022.
Created in 2002, the Prix du Cercle Montherlant – Académie des beaux-arts rewards each year a French-language work of art. Worth 10,000 euros, the prize has been divided since 2016 between the author (8,000 euros) and the publisher (2,000 euros). It is entirely financed by the generosity of Mr Jean-Pierre Grivory, Chairman and CEO of the company « Parfums Salvador Dali ». The prize will be awarded in the autumn of 2022 during the session of the Académie des Beaux-Arts which will be held under the dome of the Palais de l’Institut de France on Wednesday 16 November.
The calendar for this event in 2021 is based on the following dates :
- 28 March 2022 : opening of the Prix du Cercle Montherlant and call for applications
- 17 June 2022 : deadline for receiving works
- 16 November 2022 : presentation of the Prize at the formal sitting of the Académie des beaux-arts
Publishers wishing to submit a work for this Prize must send it to the press office, together with a presentation, by 17 June 2022.
